THEY ARE COMING!
PRACTICE….....
Here are 2 definitions of practice. a) To perform or work at repeatedly so to become proficient. b) To do or perform often, customarily, or habitually. We are right smack in the middle of the ANGIE CHALLENGE and practice is a big part of improving on your baseline time and getting in the money. Everyday do a little something to improve on your squats, pull-ups, sit-ups and push-ups, to not only excel in the final, but to excel in life and develop HABITS that will last!

TOO COLD! “NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS!“
The crew above is pretty amazing! They refuse to bail out! The weather in Vegas has been upredictable to say the least. Cold, windy, rainy, and even snow; but not once, NOT ONCE has anybody in our family chosen to use weather as a crutch or an excuse not to show up! Keep it up ladies and gents; the gym is on the way and the weather will not be a factor, unless we make it a factor!

HEY THERE SPORT…
World-Class Fitness in 100 Words: (http://www.crossfit.com/cf-download/CFJ-trial.pdf) Most of us who CrossFit EAT,BLEED, and BREATHE the first three paragraphs. But a lot of us tend to avoid paragraph 4, "Regularly learn and play new sports." We decided to learn (actually attempted to play) some tennis the other night CrossFit style with some burpees, skill work, and laps. Not only did we learn that none of us who took part in this sport day would ever make it on the ATP, but we had a lot of fun and tons of laughs. So don't be scurred of learning new sports because it happened to be one of our most fun days to date!
Doug is becoming one with his tennis skills and Eric thinks he needs more work....

That is no monkey, it is Andrea hiding from the camera. The girls and guys did great during this workout, and if I ever needed to be carried out of a burning building, it is comforting to know that a handful of my friends can get me out if need be!

FINALLY!
I have to admit it. I used to have some of my clients get on one of these balls and I thought it was functional, you know "great for the core kind of functional." After being educated and putting some inputs into the black-box, I may have stumbled onto a way to make the "EXERCISE BALL" actually functional. We may even see some good hip extension, high intensity, and maybe even a little variety. Or it might just be fun to watch how creative people get when they get sick and tired of looking at another wasted infomercial product collecting dust!
